DESCRIPTION:Sing Bend is calling on Central Oregonians – shy or bold — talented or terrible – to celebrate and share in the awesomeness of singing with YOUR Public (ROCK) Choir. The group is designed to provide a fun\, non-threatening environment\, so people of all skill levels can participate. \nPublic (ROCK) Choir is a place where people can come and sing as big and as loud as they want without feeling on the spot. It’s not about being a great singer\, it’s about joining our collective voices and singing our faces off because it feels good and it’s good for you! At PRC you can be part of a group music experience without feeling self-conscious or worried about who can hear you and who’s watching. So many people miss the opportunity to experience the power of singing because it seems too scary to put yourself out there or they feel like they don’t know what to do or where to start. We want everyone to have the chance to feel amazing doing something they might not have the courage to do alone. With a full band and music tailored specifically for mixed group singing\, you have the chance fully experience your voice JUST for the fun and good vibes of it. If you can talk\, you can sing! Come try it out. You CAN’T do it wrong so don’t be afraid of failing at anything. That’s not what we are about. \nWhile the group is called a “Choir\,” there won’t be any hymns or church music involved. PRC sings songs from popular artists heard on the radio\, both current and classic. We sing big songs with lots of voices and harmonies so everyone can find their voice inside the music.

DESCRIPTION:On March 29th in Bend we are celebrating the first‑ever Shred the Patriarchy Day\, created by Coalition Snow and brought to life locally by AdventurUs & U.P.P. Liquids. We’re calling on local groups\, organizations\, and community leaders to join us in creating a day of playing outdoors and getting together. \nThis event is more than a day outside\, it’s a collective effort to move our bodies\, raise our voices\, and generate funds for Oregon Adaptive Sports that support women and non-binary athletes. We’re building a space where women\, women‑identifying folks and allies can “shred” in their own way\, whether that’s on snow\, dirt\, trail\,water or however someone interprets “shredding”. \nWe’re inviting groups like yours to join us—by spreading the word\, creating an opportunity for folks to join you in getting outdoors and then bringing your group to UPP to celebrate!  Your participation strengthens the movement and will help build a first‑year event that truly reflects the power of our community.  We will be sharing social media assets and copy too. \nWinter has kept us guessing\, so we’re embracing flexibility. What won’t change is the heart of this gathering: Community that shows up for one another. Courage that grows when we move together.
